Blake Lively opened up about friendships and expressed her gratefulness for an “old friend” in contrast to her recent friendship fallout with Taylor Swift.
The 37-year-old actress took to Instagram on Saturday, May 17th, and penned down a lengthy note for her friend Guy Aroch.
Thanking him for being a good friend to her, the Gossip Girl alum shared a picture posted by the photographer on her Stories and wrote, “This family has been family to me for nearly 20 years now.
She added,” guyaroch and [his wife] @annapalma see the world through a sense that is vibrant and alive, aspirational and grounded, perfect and messy, cinematically moving and still like a perfect vintage oil painting. They see maximum beauty and goodness.”
In the shared post, Lively could be seen posing with her friend and his family at the exhibit at The International Center of Photography in New York City.
Continuing her tribute, Lively added, “This man is SUCH a good friend to me and everyone in his life. You meet him, and he brings you into his trust and warmth like an old friend. I love him and his family so much. And, my HEAVENS, is he a one-of-a-kind artist?”
The note about friendship comes on the heels of her recent legal drama with Justin Baldoni which led to her decade-long friendship with Swift to fall apart.
After the pop superstar got subpoenaed in the case, she released a straight forward message via her spokesperson, cutting off any ties with the contentious movie, It Ends With Us.
